If you follow me on Instagram, you know I am all about the farmer's market life. Living in California has really transformed me on what goes into my family's body. There is nothing like knowing there are no secret ingredients or coloring in your fruits and veggies. I feel lighter talking about this. LOL!
Berries is an awesome snack to fill up your child with energy. Most fruits contain a simple sugar called fructose. Before fructose can be used as fuel, it has to be converted in to glucose. Because of this, it takes time to release into your body, which slows down the effects, unlike sugars that come from candy and cupcakes.
